Types of Energy
Today you will learn about potential and kinetic energy. Your objective is to make a comparison between kinetic and potential energy found in our environment.
1st: Your first step is to go to this website. After reading the information look around the room for an example of kinetic energy and an example of potential energy.
2nd: On the paper provided you will draw an example of each and then in the box provided write a comparison (show how the two are different or the same) between the two examples. You will complete the back of the paper tomorrow.
3rd: Once completed turn in your examples to Ms. Murray and begin working on your vocabulary sheet.

1st: Head over to brainpop.com and sign in. Search for and watch the video called "Energy Sources." After viewing the video complete the quiz.
Renewable and Nonrenewable Resources
1st Click here and use the information on the site to define renewable and non renewable resources on your worksheet.
2nd: Use the information from the above website to complete the energy sources table on your worksheet.
3rd: Complete review section of worksheet
4th: Miss Murray will assign you a group and you will work together to create a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting renewable and nonrenewable resources.
